CHAPTER AFFILIATION

The National TSA Conference Competitive Events Guide is sent to chapters once they have affiliated with the Technology Student Association.

 

VIRGINIA TSA COMPETITIVE EVENT ADDENDUM

The  Addendum should be carefully studied to qualify the differences between the National TSA Conference Competitive Events Guide and how Virginia TSA manages the competitions at the regional and state conferences.

 

REGISTRATION

Registration is required for chapters to participate. Chapters MUST be affiliated no later than January 31 in order to be eligible to participate in Regional Spring Fairs & Technosphere.

NATIONAL TSA CONFERENCE

National Registration is handled directly through the National TSA Website.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Virginia TSA offers scholarship opportunities for Virginia TSA students that have displayed exceptional Leadership qualities or intend to further their TSA experience by preparing to become Technology Education professionals. These three Scholarships are offered in Honor of three Virginia Leaders in TSA and  Technology Education who exemplify the strong commitment to our Profession and Association. Interested students should email Mr. Scott at bscott@vsu.edu for what is needed for these scholarships.

$1000 Hughes Scholarship

The Virginia Technology Student Association announces the availability of the $1,000 Hughes Scholarship for an undergraduate student majoring in teacher preparation – with certification in technology education. The award – in honor of Thomas A. Hughes, Jr., a Virginia technology educator – is based upon evidence of leadership potential and desire to be a teacher. Thomas Hughes Scholarship Application

$1000 Monroe Scholarship

The Virginia Technology Student Association announces the availability of the $1000 Monroe Scholarship for an undergraduate student majoring in teacher preparation – with certification in technology education.
